The product is suitable for hydraulic steel structures.

As a first primer coat for heavy corrosion protection after abrasive blasting at Sa 2.5.

Heat stable up to the melting point of the zinc, which is about 450°C.

Mixing Ratio 20:1 with 0091-60002

Suitable for water-blasted and manually de-rusted steel surfaces. Tolerates residual moisture and light flash rust formation,

NewPro POX Single-Component  Zinc Dust Primer

Product and Material Description:

 (Humidity hardening)

For use after abrasive blasting at Sa 2.5 as first primer coat.

A highly temperature resistant, up to about 300°C, single component priming material for use in corrosion protection systems. A relative humidity of at least 50% is necessary during the application and following drying phase, resulting in a minimum drying time of 24 hours.

A higher humidity has a positive influence on the drying phase because the primer is humidity hardening.

Can be coated over with silicone resin coating material.

NewPro SIL Single-Component ESI-Zinc Dust Primer

Product and Material Description:

According to Soff-No. 588.20.38

Single component zinc dust primer according to old regulations DIN 55928

Primer Coat Type C:

Epoxy resin (EPE) zinc dust, this primer has not been taken into the list of DIN EN ISO 12944-5. But it replaces alkyd resin primers with zinc phosphate in the areas of corrosion protection classes C2 and C3. 

A high quality coating material for use in heavy duty corrosion protection on blasted surfaces.

Corrosive protection is comparable to electrolytic and hot-dip galvanising. The dry film contains about 56 Vol.% of metallic zinc, the electrical resistance is near 0 kOhm.
