It has happened to almost everyone. For various reasons the door of the house or flat slams shut. If you realize now that the keys are inside and you are outside is shut out in true sense of the word.
It has happened often, just when something is going on in the house, there is a pot on the stove top, .....this is a minor annoyance and harmless. But fire fighters and police have often reported that fires result from such situations. But even if the worst does not happen, the misfortune is bad enough – and can become a dear experience if the Key and Lock Service has to be called.

Does that have to be so? No!

NewPro STOP- OUT, the Lock-Out Protection, prevents once and for all that you stand before a closed door. NewPro STOP-OUT is reliable in turning front doors, apartment doors, balcony doors, and terrace doors into lock-out protected doors. To lock yourself or others out will never happen again. The assembly is very easy. It is an optimal safety construction –even getting a grown-up's or a child's finger getting caught is excluded.

Delivery:

base plate, 2 small wood screws, 1 rocker, 1 plastic cap, 1 large wood screw, 1 spacer, 1 glue strip.

Color: white or brown.

Assembly instructions:

1.
Screw base plate onto inside door, above the handle set with the small wood screws, it has to be flush mount with the door edge!

2.
Attach plastic cap to rocker. Advice: wetting the cap facilitates attachment.

3.
Screw rocker with large wood screw to the base plate and tighten so that the rocker still oscillates smoothly. NewPro STOP- OUT is applicable to doors with left or right end stop: Before screwing on the rocker, please make sure that the plastic cap side of the rocker points to the door frame.

4.
Close the door and glue the spacer with the glue strip to the door frame at the same height as the base plate. The spacer prevents fingers getting caught when the door slams shut. Please notice: if the door hits the frame with less than 15 mm, e.g. aluminum doors, then attaching the spacer is impossible.

The lock-out protection of NewPro STOP- OUT is still fully functioning.

Assembly Tip:
for attaching the base plate to aluminum and plastic doors: use a 2,5 mm –metal drill to create the screw holes and turn in the delivered screws.
