NewPro permaSeal hydrophobic on absorbent surface for textile, leather and synthetic materials

Product:

NewPro permaSeal NA TEX 158 is a hydrophobic surface impregnation based on chemical nanotechnology. The impregnation forms a transparent and ultra thin layer on absorbent textile surfaces and shows water and soil repelling properties.

Main field of application:

NewPro permaSeal NA TEX 158 can protect a multitude of absorbent textile surfaces against water and some oily soiling.

Material base:

Mixture of organic solvents with special additives.

Storage:

Shelf life of at least 24 months at room temperature in originally sealed packing. Protect from frost, heat and moisture.

Application process:

Spraying.

Colour:

Transparent, nearly colourless.

Viscosity:

Approx. 1,5 mPas.

Consumption:

Approx. 50 – 100 ml per m².

Surface preparation:

Surface must be dry and free of dust and soiling

Product preparation:

No further preparation needed, ready to use.

Application:

NewPro permaSeal NA TEX 158 is to be applied by dipping or spraying. The surface must be wetted completely. After drying at room temperature no further heat treatment is necessary.
In case of application of NewPro permaSeal NA TEX 158 by spraying sufficient air ventilation must be ensured. Aerosols must not be inhaled, otherwise pulmonary damage can occur.

Processing temperatures:

5 – 25 °C.

Curing:

Occurs at room temperature with sufficient ventilation.

Tool cleaning (OEM)

Alcohol (if necessary).

Renewing and recoating:

In case of reduced impregnation performance NewPro permaSeal NA TEX 158 can be reapplied as described above.

While applying NewPro permaSeal NA TEX 158 the signs and information on the label and the security and safety procedures recommended in the security data sheet should be considered, as well as the instructions of the respective Employers Liability Insurance Association for the prevention of accidents. Waste management:

Has to be deposited according to requirements of the local authorities.
