Handling instructions

The coating material creates a water and oil resistant glass surface. It makes dirt and lime removal easier and protects the surface from permanent damage due to inclusion of insoluble residue. For best result proceed as follows:

1. Surface Cleaning

• The glass surface must be completely dry and free of dirt, e.g. fingerprints.
• If the glass has been stored for a longer period of time, then it must be cleaned in a washing plant. When cleaning manually use a NewPro suggested cleanser. NewPro Polishing Cream Plus gives ideal results when cleaning stored or very soiled glass.
• The surface must be dry and clean to be ready for coating. If necessary wipe shortly with ethyl alcohol.

2. Setting of airgun (Satajet RP, Düsentry MSB 1: 3)3. Coating with NewPro SPG

Caution: Wear dust respirator when spraying or gunning because aerosols will arise. Arrange for adequate exhaustion.

• Suggested airgun Sata Jet: the settings for other products must be determined before usage.

• Velocity 20 cm/s. 20 cm spraing with approx. 25-20 cm distance to glass

• Apply thin layers twice (horizontally, then vertically)

• An even light grey film will appear. Avoid wet surfaces and drop formation. Rather apply lightly several times than too heavily.

• Advice: Do not use more than 50 g NewPro SPG per metre. Surface and object temperature: +10°C, humidity: max. 60%. Different outside conditions can influence the desired effect.

• The coated glass pane should be wiped with a moist cloth at least 10 minutes after application. Do not apply glass cleaner, solvents or washing plants before one, or better two hours after application.

4. Effectivity Check

• Water should drop on the surface but not create an equivalent film.

5. The effect can be delayed due to high humidity.

6. Cleaning the coated surface

• Dirt and lime will not adhere strongly to the surface, do not use aggressive cleaners (very acidic, very alkaline, scouring agent).

• If the roll off effect fades, clean the glass pane with sponge and a mild cleaner (NewPro CombiCleaner ).

• The coating requires regular cleaning using a mild cleaner and in sanitation areas regular moisture removal with a squeegee.

• Microfibre cloth could worsen the effect. The good cleaning properties of microfiber cloths result from their rough structure. If the surface is not completely hardened, it could be damaged by microfiber cloths.
