Fire Protection with NewPro

NewPro sells newly developed, flame resistant chemicals as additives for fire protection for the usage with pre-fabricated textiles like theatre curtains and ornamentations. Textile materials made of natural fibres, silk, and chiffon-like synthetics can be produced as flame retardant.

Water-based paints and coatings, paperboard containers and untreated wood can also be treated with the chemicals NewPro FlammenEXX Series VE.

The products Flame Guardian FG 200 + Flame Guardian FG 220 are used as flame-retardant additives in the textile, film and electronics industry. In addition, we deliver to upholsteries, construction and other manufacturing businesses, which have to safeguard fire protection for their products. Furthermore, we offer services to check/test the fire retardant properties of your products according to DIN/EU regulations.

All products are approved by the New York City Fire Department and certified by the State of California Fire Department, both USA. The products have been decorated for high quality, easy handling, and because ot their absolute non-toxic properties according to chemical legislation (EPA Standard USA).

According to European chemical legislation, our products are environmentally friendly and contain neither hazardous or toxic components, nor heavy metals or halogen compounds which might be harmful to the ozone layer. Naturally, the products are „VOC free“.

As exclusive agent for these US products, we also have stocked the products. Other products and special solutions for fire protection can be procured from the USA on short notice.

For timber substrates that require class o Spread of Flame or Euro class B. NewPro Flame Clear Impregnation HY 98 is a water based, ready to use solution that is absorbed into the surface of the substrate.

NewPro Anti Flame Steel BASECOAT HY 103 is a thin film water based decorative intumescent paint system providing fire resistance to structural steel and cast iron.

NewPro Anti Flame Steel TopCoat HY 104 is a hard, single coat, high build flame retardant, anti-corrosion coating for internal and external steel and cast iron.

NewPro HY Steel ETCH Primer is a single pack primer giving excellent adhesion to aluminium and other metal prior to subsequent paint systems.
