Product and Material Description

Adhesive primer for application as a thin layer for various metallic surfaces (zinc plating and aluminium) and plastic surfaces in engineering, plant and motor vehicle construction. The dried film offers good corrosion protection and grinding properties.

A thin layer is required in the case of very smooth undergrounds such as for example aluminium, zinc plating, drawn or lathed materials, and stainless steel which all require as support fine grinding or sanding, resp. sweeping. In the case of stainless steel, blasting with glass beads is preferable.   

Adjustment variation with Art.-No. 7044- 72240-0013 (Mixing Ratio 9:1 with 0041-13801)

provides for a longer pot life and less overspray.

Further special adjustments, based on hardener modifications, are available on request.

Corrosion protection primer, containing zinc phosphate with low solvent content for steel surfaces.

!! Please note the high solids content with over 70% with which a lower wet film thickness and high coverage can be achieved!!
